Bavaria C57 will debut at Dusseldorf

Bavaria Yachts will showcase four new vessels making debuts at the Dusseldorf Boat Show 2017 which takes place from 21-29 January.

The new flagship yacht, Bavaria C57 and the Bavaria R40 Coupe will be making their world premieres at the show and will be unveiled at 11am on 21 January.

Bavaria C57 is complete with a new design and brand new deck layout, its two helms aim to offer perfect views. It has three large lounge areas for the crew and guests with three cabins, including a traditionally larger owners cabin and two guest cabins.

The Bavaria R40 Coupe has a large electric plastic sunroof that can allow sun into the saloon and the roof over the open cockpit can also be opened with a second sunroof. Below the deck it has two cabins, a spacious layout and multiple practical features.

While the Bavaria E40 Fly motor yacht and the Nautitech 46 Open catamaran will be making their first appearance at a German boat show.

The Nautitech 46 Open catamaran and the E40 Fly from are manufactured in Rochefort on the Atlantic coast.

Drafted by Marc Lombard, the boats are designed for comfort and plenty of space for spending relaxed hours at sea. The cockpit and the large saloon with a pantry, lounge area and plenty of space for a nice living space.

Bavaria Yachts will be showcasing all seven models in the Bavaria S line from 29 to 45 feet in Düsseldorf.

Email Print Agreement signed03 Jan 2017Ocean Safety’s Kru lifejacket toughing it out in the Volvo Ocean RaceOcean Safety has signed an agreement to provide safety equipment to each yacht in the 2017/2018 Volvo Ocean Race, the fifth consecutive time the company has supplied the yacht race.Among the items the company will supply will be life preservation products and location and recovery equipment. Ocean Safety will also run sea survival training courses for the crews prior to the race start.Every yacht will carry two Ocean Safety bulkhead mounted jonbuoy recovery modules with jonbuoy horseshoes. Each will be fitted with an Ocean Signal MOB1 that will automatically activate if the jonbuoy is launched.Ocean Safety SOLAS compliant compact liferafts have been adapted to the race rules. Other new equipment includes a custom flare pack to include smoke flares, hand flares and rockets. “Once again we are delighted to be supplying the Volvo Ocean Race fleet. This is a testament to the relationship that we have developed with VOR over the years and the quality of our products,” said Alistair Hackett of Ocean Safety. “We continue to work with the organisers to create a safety system on board which will aid immediate, effective survival at sea.”The race, which starts later this year, will feature almost three times as much Southern Ocean sailing as the previous edition.
