JEANNEAU<\/p>\n
UK Jeanneau dealer Sea Ventures and Cowes based Offshore Academy have formed a partnership designed to aid Britain\u2019s quest for medals in the 2024 Paris Olympics.<\/p>\n
The boat broker has supplied an initial four Sun Fast 3300 boats, one of the contenders for the double-handed offshore category.<\/p>\n
Hannah Diamond and Henry Bomby will campaign one of the boats, working alongside Jeanneau to finalise the detailing and optimisation prior to full production starting in the autumn.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe new Jeanneau Sun Fast 3300 is designed by Daniel Andrieu and Guillaume Verdier and is a balanced and versatile boat optimized for IRC,\u201d commented Nigel Colley, Sea Ventures MD.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are delighted to be supporting The Offshore Academy and such talented British sailors as Hannah and Henry \u2013 the Sun Fast 3300 was designed with the intent to be raced double handed and so it will provide a good test bed for their campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n
Significant development<\/p>\n
He added: \u201cThis is the first time we have had a UK based Jeanneau professional \u2018works\u2019 team\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe knowledge and development the campaign will undergo will significantly benefit current and future Sun Fast customers in terms of training, development and performance.\u201d<\/p>\n
