{"id":1228,"date":"2017-06-27T10:10:15","date_gmt":"2017-06-27T10:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.marlow-ropes.co.uk\/?p=1228"},"modified":"2017-06-27T10:10:15","modified_gmt":"2017-06-27T10:10:15","slug":"boating-business-bryd-announce-carbon-racer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.marlow-ropes.co.uk\/?p=1228","title":{"rendered":"Boating Business | BRYD announce carbon racer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BRYD announce carbon racer<\/p>\n<p>23 Jun 2017<\/p>\n<p>Starboard view of BRYD&#8217;S BR31<\/p>\n<p>Ben Rogerson Yacht Design (BRYD) has announced plans for its new carbon racing sports boat, aimed at HP30 Class and IRC\/ORC sailors.<\/p>\n<p>Designed for a maximum crew of seven, the BR31 is designed for sailors seeking performance racing at a lower cost than running a 40-footer, yet offering similar features and feel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to make this level of sailing more accessible and move things forward from the typical plastic racer,\u201d explained Ben Rogerson, BRYD founder. \u201cWe have developed a viable new design for the HP30 class which promises to be a race winner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The boats will be British-built and incorporate a fabricated fin as standard.
